Steps to Change Steam Download/Install Location In this quick and simple post, let me show you the steps to quickly change the default Steam download and install directory. No need to reinstall the entire game catalog. One of the advantages of choosing a different download location is that even after reinstalling Windows, you can simply point Steam towards the folder and it recognizes the already installed games. If needed, you can add multiple locations for better game categorization. You can change the game download and install location in Steam. Thankfully, Steam offers a simple solution. This is especially true for AAA titles which often exceed 50 GB & 1000 GB limits. The problem with this is that most Windows users will not have enough space in the C drive to install multiple games. i.e, the C drive to download and install the games. none of my mods were activated when i started the game.By default, Steam uses the default install directory. I just wanna say i tried doing that, but it didnt work. That's what the thread shows, on how to change the mod path to a whole different location or drive. He doesn't want anything on his SSD drive that is why I told him to put it in his install folder on a different drive. This setting works completely for Steam and standalone version. Please edit your global.ini located in "My Documents/PiBoSo/MX Bikes/" according to this thread, section "mods": (should redirect you to the mods how-to) Oh no please don't do it that way! It's the second most unorganized way out there. You can do the same with your (rider) and (tyres) folders as well.
